Save the Date: The Inaugural Minnesota Bail Conference Is Coming to Saint Paul

The Minnesota Bail Association is proud to announce the inaugural Minnesota Bail Conference, taking place Thursday, November 5, 2026, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

This statewide conference will bring together bail professionals, criminal justice leaders, industry partners, and key decision-makers from across Minnesota. It will provide an important forum for professional education, legislative advocacy, industry collaboration, and meaningful discussion about public safety, accountability, and Minnesota’s pretrial justice system. The conference will also create an opportunity to educate the public, industry partners, and state leaders about the importance of secured bail and the critical role professional bail agents serve within the criminal justice system.

Bail is one of the most important tools available to the courts. It provides a lawful pathway to pretrial release while creating enforceable accountability, helping ensure court appearances, protecting the integrity of the judicial process, and allowing for intervention when defendants fail to comply. Secured bail provides both accountability and support without transferring the full cost of pretrial supervision and enforcement to taxpayers.
