MBA MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the Minnesota Bail Association brings bail agents, bail enforcement professionals, company owners, and industry leaders together to protect secured bail, strengthen professional standards, influence legislation, and defend an accountable pretrial-release system that does not transfer unnecessary costs onto Minnesota taxpayers.
Secured bail provides more than release from custody. It creates a direct structure of responsibility involving the defendant, the bail agent, the surety, and often the defendant’s family or indemnitor. This establishes a network of success, where the defendant can find resources and support to navigate the complexities of the criminal justice system.
Individual Bail Agent Membership
Individual membership is available for $25 annually (or $100 donation to an MBA Approved Advocate/Lobbyist) and provides bail agents and bail enforcement professionals with access to MBA meetings, education, legislative updates, professional resources, industry collaboration, and voting opportunities. You must be a member to be on the Board of Directors.
Bail Company Membership
Company membership is available for $500 annually (or a $2,000 donation to an MBA Approved Advocate/Lobbyist) and includes up to five individual memberships. This option gives company owners and leadership teams a direct role in shaping the association’s legislative, regulatory, educational, and industry-protection priorities.
Your membership is more than an annual fee. It is an investment in public safety, professional accountability, taxpayer protection, and the continued future of secured bail in Minnesota.

You will then need to provide PROOF of the donation. Once the donation is confirmed, your membership will be activated with MBA!
